1. Acceptance of Terms

By using TrialMatch ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. MEDICAL DISCLAIMER - NOT MEDICAL ADVICE

CRITICAL NOTICE:

TrialMatch provides informational matching based on publicly available data from global clinical registries. We are NOT a healthcare provider. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.

Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read on this Service. Reliance on any information provided by TrialMatch is solely at your own risk.

3. Privacy & Data Minimization

TrialMatch operates on a "Transient Processing" model. When you upload a medical record:

  • The document is processed in-memory to extract relevant medical text.
  • The original file is NOT stored on our servers or in any persistent storage.
  • Only an encrypted, structured medical profile is retained to perform searches.

4. No Guarantee of Eligibility

Match scores are algorithmic estimates. TrialMatch does not guarantee that you will be eligible for any trial found. Eligibility can only be determined by the specific trial's clinical investigators.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

Service requires a paid subscription for full access. Payments are handled securely via Stripe. You may cancel at any time via the Billing Portal. All fees are non-refundable.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRIALMATCH AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, OR ANY DATA LOSS, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
